Agile CxO: Welcome to a special edition of the Agile Leadership Podcast with Agilecxo.org. I’m your host, Jeff Dalton, and this month we have not one, not two, but three special guests from the Wyoming Department of Enterprise Solutions. Please join me in welcoming Josh Soffe, Robert Galik, and Julie Arp from the great state of Wyoming.
Why did you choose Agile and why are you having your teams adopt Agile frameworks?
Rob: Agile has allowed us to adapt to ever-changing business requirements when developing software through constant collaboration, use of development iterations, and using this what we’ve really found is that we’re more able to consistently deliver products on time and on budget.
Julie: And our customer satisfaction is very high so we’ll continue using Agile in the future.
Agile CxO: Was Agile something that you decided to adopt collectively or was this something that’s done department by department?
Rob: What we’ve done is we really more implemented it fully in the development area first and then it’s kind of spreading out, it’s becoming more fully implemented throughout our organization. We’re using it in a lot of ways throughout the organization. The other parts of our organization are really starting to see the benefits of that, and we’re all coming together.
Agile CxO: What advice do you have for Agile leaders to go about setting the organizational Agile frameworks and values and to make sure everyone understands them?
~ Julie Arp, Josh Soffe and Rob Galik of the State of Wyoming
